STUMBLING UPON UNBIASED IDEAS

After working for a period of time on a piece of music, you tend to settle on certain things, leaving other things out. In order to avoid this pitfall, I have set up a system that presents new ideas and creates passages in a completely unbiased way from a musical “event pool”. This produces some very interesting and exciting musical results, and can generate endless mutations of the music. With a sufficient number of events and the right numbers entered, the music could go on infinitely, with new unique combinations all the time.
