INFINITY:: AGITATORS :: THE FASHION SHOW

A UNIQUE FASHION SHOW

Dynamic, algorithmic short story

by Jesper Ranum

The Strand, London,
early Saturday evening.
The top designer house,
Karl
Vuitton,
throws a giant summer show.

The omnipresent
freelance DJ
sets new standards with
a smooth ambient take on
“I don’t like Mondays”
bought on Discogs

A Unilever logo starts to blink behind
the red, smoke-filled background.
A confetti cannon goes off when
wall Projectors start loop playing
a pulsating plastic heart,
with superimposed Anti-War messages.

Everyone is curios
when suddenly
Tanya
Shotcum -
a
73 year old
fragile
and
self-confident
arabian
priest -
makes sure to be noticed
and showcases
a Heavy Metal inspired
dark green
rhinestone-covered
silk Creation,
plus
smelly
ballet shoes
and
an unusually big
bike helmet.

A Cartier watch
and
a John Lennon album
rounds off the
delicate
impression.

The important looking
experts
have never seen anything like it and
the president’s daughter
talks about charity.
