The nervous
female indie DJ
launches the event by playing
an influential dubstep version of
“I’m not in love”
that was floating around on SoundCloud

An illuminated Google logo slides up
the red backdrop.
The catwalk illuminates while
the giant LED screen shows
a poor rendering of an 80s soft porn movie,
and technical motion graphics.

Everyone is seated
just as
Tanya
Badchamp -
a
56 year old
huge
and
talented
french
stranger -
steps up
and showcases
a HipHop influenced
dark green
rhinestone-covered
combat outfit,
supplemented by
worn out
ballet shoes
and
a foolish
bowler hat.

A banjo
and
a pair of stilts
rounds off the
potent
impression.

The foot stomping
judges
jump excited on the table and
the top dollar manager
pays a post mortem tribute to a legend from the past.
