CONTROL & PERFORMANCE SPACE

The many kilometres of wire running throughout the house are all connected to the patchbay in the main control room. From here it is distributed to the “equipment islands” via snakes and stageboxes.

WORKSTATIONS

3 Mac Pros handle the AV loads.

SYNTHESIZERS

A plethora of new and vintage synthesizers forms an ominous center position.

OUTBOARDS

High-end mastering chain, a wide range of utility and control devices.

MIXING DESK

The X32 Digital Mixer from Behringer gathers all hardware keyboards and sends them via 8 buses to the Universal Audio Apollo-16 Interfaces.

MONITORS & PROJECTORS

2 separate projection systems plus a range of TV monitors can transform the room into a multimedia experience. This can occasionally be experienced in the Fluxic Live Studio Concerts, held with irregular intervals.

POWER CONTROL

All power in the room is controlled from a central power panel with switching in logical sections for better power management.

PROGRAMMABLE LIGHTS

The room is situated in the middle of the original villa, and thus has no direct windows to the exterior. Only indirect light from the uplights in the adjacent rooms. So to compensate, a comprehensive light system has been installed for complete light control in all situations. The system consists of both standard lamps and LED stage lights, controlled from a central hub. The DMX lighting controller is an advanced 512-channel unit, that can control a range of lights plus lasers and smoke machines.

The lighting system is fully MIDI-controlled and as well as ordinary light services it is also used in the irregular and exclusive Fluxic Studio Concerts.
