Amek “Angela” 32-ch Mixing desk

The Amek Angela is a relatively compact, inline mixing desk (dual inputs on each channel), with 24 busses, and 4 subgroups.

It has a really nice, warm and classy, yet still open sound, with Rupert Neve designed Amek preamps, and fully paramteric, 4 band EQ and 8 Aux Sends for each channel. The metering bridge provides a quick overview of the input channels and busses.

And a slot for patchbays complements the desk.

The Angela was provided by Poul Bruun of Medley Records, who claimed to have bought it while drinking together with a gear supplier. I entered a leasing agreement with Medley Records for the desk and the Otari 24-track machine.
