Synthesizer Heroes: Hawkwind

Acid rockers Hawkwind, with the charismatic sing and guitarist Lemmy [†] of later Motorhead fame, were actually quite early adapters of synthesizers, which matched their stoned, jam-based tracks.

On “Warriors on the Edge of Time” (1975) the synthesizer plays a quite prominent role.
