New York “art-rock” band Talking Heads played an important role in defining the new-wave (post punk) rock sound.

Throughout a series of albums – with “Remain in Light” probably being the most important – the band described city life paradoxes, with an energetic rhythmic drive, and frenetic vocals by David Byrne – the leader of the band.
