STUDIO 6

Ranum Studio 1988

The small room in Gl. Kongevej 47B, 3rd floor ran very hot indeed, and had no facilities for more than 2-3 people at a time.

Therefore I was very interested in taking over a bigger room that appeared to be available some floors below. Occupied by a fur-maker, they committed to relocating in 2 stages. First stage freed up space enough to almost triple the space of the old studio.

DOUBLING THE SPACE

So this sixth version of the studio opened in May, 1988 at Gl. Kongevej 47, 1st floor. The room was much bigger and had a combined lounge and office area adjacent to the main control room. But still no dedicated recording space or rooms. All recordings still took place in the control room. And actually it worked like a charm.
