Follow this funky track from the rehearsal room over studio demos, to album premix, release version and live.

Built on a modular sequenced pattern, the funk groove grows with a strong vocal and lyrics that stands out. Inspired by New Yorkers like Talking Heads and Blondie, but with a definite original touch. Along with the vocal lines from Tommy, every member contributed with their strong parts to the track.

It is rather obvious that the track was at the strongest on the first rehearsal demo although the sound is a bit rough.

Tempo and arrangement changed during production, and the release version suffered from a weirdly separated rhythm, partly created by the very distinct New York style mix, and a too fast tempo.  This took away the original deep groove and feel from the early versions, and weakened the track considerably.
